About Level 3 Training

Level 3 training aims to improve the confidence of designated school staff who have agreed to provide individualised support for a student living with type 1 diabetes while they are at school. Where possible, level 3 face-to-face training is provided by a member of the child’s clinical treating team. The training typically takes 3 hrs, at the school location (depending on local COVID restrictions) and is provided at no charge to the school.
