Diabetes Explained

Diabetes is a chronic condition that affects how the body regulates blood glucose. Every day, people with diabetes need to make decisions and take action to keep their glucose levels steady.

Most students with diabetes will have type 1 diabetes, but some may have type 2 diabetes. These conditions are not the same.
